SENIOR YEAR is such a special season full of sentimental memories that will leave a lasting impact forever:  pep rallies, ball games, senior events, senior prank, prom, college night, campus visits, and big decisions.  And while it can be a little scary with all of the big decisions and changes, it's also really exciting!

Our number one priority as your senior photographers is to capture the real, naturally beautiful YOU during this memorable season in your life.  We want to capture your happiness, personality, interests, and style to give you memories to look back on for years to come.  We promise to create images that reflect YOU, your vision, your style, and your look.  And combined with our natural light approach to creating images and no-fuss posing, we'll produce beautiful images that you'll want to share!  We also promise to work though any nerves so you feel comfortable, confident, and natural in front of the lens.  You will radiate all of the natural beauty and joy that is synonymous with your Senior year!  

Your first step is to contact us!  Upon inquiry, you will receive our Senior Brochure with a list of the experiences (and prices) that we offer for you to choose from as you build your own Senior Photography Experience.  What does it mean to build your own experience? It’s super simple: 1. Choose the number of hours that you want photography coverage, 2. Choose your add-ons like a friends and family session, or a Senior film, or a day of pampering, or an after-graduation photo session, 3. Submit the brochure with the final pricing tabulated according to your choices, and 4. Be on the lookout for your custom online booking proposal where you and your parents can review your selections and pay your deposit to make everything super official! YAY, you are now a Bella Lumiere Senior!!  

2. LOCATIONS, OUTFITS, & MORE

Welcome to the family!!  We can't wait to hear all about your ideas and vision for your Senior Photography session!! Soon after we are booked, we will begin sending you emails periodically that are full of helpful tips about how to get the most from your Senior photography purchase including topics like what to wear to your photography session, how to prep for your BIG day and much, much more!  We will send you a robust questionnaire geared towards helping us get to know you, your personality, your style, your interests, and your vision for your Senior photography session.  And when it’s time to begin planning all of the fun details, we will schedule your planning session. The planning session is where we will work together with you to choose the perfect locations and outfits that compliment you and your vision.  It's also the time to ask questions, bring ideas, and create a timeline for your session with any must-have photos. So start saving photos of ideas for locations, outfits, hair and makeup, nails, and overall vibe that you like.  We're going to want to see them all!!

3. THE BIG DAY!!! 

Woohoo, it’s here! Your Senior photography session day has finally arrived!  It’s time for you to celebrate being a SENIOR, relax while getting pampered, and enjoy feeling like a model for the day!  Most likely your session day will start out with some pampering at the salon!  What girl doesn't love to have her hair, makeup, and nails done for the BIG shoot later that afternoon?  From there, head home to grab your outfits, accessories, and any special props like an instrument, pompoms, or sports gear.  Next, we'll all meet at the first location about 15 minutes early so we can make final outfit and accessory selections and you can touch up your lip gloss one last time.

Don't worry if you have never modeled before... we teach you everything you need to know to look and feel natural in front of the camera!  We will take the first few minutes to teach you some simple poses and address any areas of concern so they can be minimized or hidden through creative posing.  It's perfect practice for when the session actually begins and allows you time to get comfortable in front of our cameras while working through any nerves or the dreaded “hate to have my picture taken” feeling.  Believe me, we understand how intimidating it can be to have a camera pointed at you!  Our goal is for you feel comfortable, confident and natural... so, we will be there coaching you through each pose to highlight and showcase YOU, the Senior.  

As soon as your Senior session is over, be sure to keep an eye on your email because we are known for sending over sneak peek photos from your session within the first 24 hours. 

4. GALLERY DELIVERY +
 ALBUM DESIGN + WALL ART

You can expect to receive your finished gallery of images approximately three to four weeks following your session day. Your beautifully displayed online gallery is where you are able to download, share, and print all of the high-resolution digital files. They are backed up online, so your gallery won’t disappear on you! 

Your online gallery also comes with a very unique feature… the ability to curate, design, and print your very own custom Senior album and art for your walls. Most Seniors design their album and at least one large piece of art for their wall within the first few months of being photographed. Your parents can order the same Senior album and wall art as you designed or create their own custom ones at their convenience.
